What I took from the post was an ATR v B738 ex DUB to UK and how they both make it work, to for example A320 v Q400/E-195 ex EDI to LHR.

Take with a pinch of salt but a suggestion that may return to Waterford next year (not via BE SEN Franchise)

Is there more to come for the summer schedule?
Find it strange that there is only one BHD-MAN (and v.v.) on a Sunday compared to the usual 5 or 6...
Also noticed a few of the flights are now outside of BHD's curfew hours

BOHEuropean 13th Dec 2016 20:20

There's still more flights to be released, no idea when though.

Sholto Douglas 13th Dec 2016 20:23

I suspect that there may well be more to come. I'm hoping to do a comparison tomorrow between Winter 2016/2017 and Summer 2017.

I'll hopefully post my findings tomorrow. At present I believe Flybe's schedule for Summer 2017 to be roughly 16% up on the previous summer.

Ps - I should have stated that any statistics relate to schedules to/from Manchester.

Sholto Douglas 14th Dec 2016 11:44

All that I can say is that the programme seems to have some gaps and therefore there appears to be work in progress.

We all seem to expect schedules to be finalised earlier each year, but this not be the case until probably the end of January.

E195 fleet staus

Does anyone know if all the nine Flybe E195s are currently actively employed?

I know some were wfu for a period a few years back and then bases were opened at DSA and CWL, each having two E195s. I assume others are currently based at BHX and other Flybe bases.

If in doubt with such enquiries just check Jethros website.

southside bobby 16th Dec 2016 11:42

Hear Hear Canberra97 re your advice to Expressflight regarding the query concerning the BEE ERJ190 fleet disposition....but at least the professing & intimation of more knowledge than most on the SEN thread by Expressflight concerning the BEE/STK gig is shown to be somewhat exposed by the query & then not helping that case by stating on the SEN thread a little later in the day with no credit for the help given in this place & appearing perhaps with implied "previous" that there would almost certainly be amongst ongoing plans for the supposed BEE/STK dance,no E'190 ops by BEE a/c in 2017 from SEN.... Barling Magna 16th Dec 2016 11:57

ERJ195, surely....?

Expressflight 16th Dec 2016 12:12

southside bobby

Wow, I have upset you and I apologise for having done that.

While I appreciated the advice from canberra97 to refer to Jethro's, I had already done so and that source does not provide any evidence as to the current utilisation of the Flybe E195 fleet and that is one of the things I was seeking. CCGE 29 kindly provided that information. I did not realise that PPRuNe etiquette dictated that I should acknowledge the source of my information to this thread, as I had already thanked those concerned, but I bow to your superior knowledge on the matter.

As to my knowledge concerned "the BEE/STK gig" as you put it, I think my past record on 'things SEN' over the years speaks for itself.

If you look on G-INFO you will see Flybe's fleet registered as ERJ 190-200s, which is what the ERJ 195 is certificated as.

Flybe applies for Heathrow domestic slots

As reported in the press, and confirmed by Flybe, they have applied for slots to serve Heathrow.

These are understood to be the UK domestic remedy slots which will enable them to serve Edinburgh and Aberdeen from LHR from March 2017.

Assuming that they survive 3 years in competition with BA, Flybe will be free in 2020 to reallocate those slots to any European destinations.

LHR Slots

Surely this is Suicide !

22/04 18th Dec 2016 11:18

Not sure it's suicide but they might catch a cold. If it doesn't work presume they can let the slots go elsewhere but they can only be used on those routes. As I asked before are there codeshares? Which terminal - presumably not T5
