The flybe ATR crew (pilot and cabin crew) are most contractor (so all nationality) provided by PAS aviation.
Flybe sent a bunch of cabin crew number 1 in stockholm as representative. And yes at least one "real" flybe pilot supervise all of this. In any case all of them are flying for flybe, then flybe leased plane + crew to SAS. ++ |
All other -PRP* aircraft have returned to Exeter after paint, does this mean PRPC will initially be BHX based? |
With regards to the Embraer operating out of BHX, what routes do they operate? in so far as i can see, the web site does not tell me. Thanks.

BHX
PAXboy
Without been too flippant, most of the BHX destinations if they can find a crew to fly them. Things have improved as of today with 195 back in service on the Paris three times daily and a second was on the Edinburgh this morning. The 175's vary from 5 - 7 flying depending I assume on crew availability but over the last month two Q400's on average have been subbed in on 175 flights. This evening just the inbound Dusseldorf has been subbed to the Q400. The schedule in the week was or could be this week: - Milan twice daily (3 daily in Sept) Stuttgart twice daily Dusseldorf four daily (all flights in the week) - changes in winter Amsterdam 4 daily Berlin daily Lyon daily Bordeaux 4 a week Jersey two daily (first and last out ex BHX)- back to the Dash in winter Edinburgh - 3 daily (First out ex BHX, 4th out and 6th out) Glasgow - one daily (First out ex BHX) Belfast - two daily (4th out ex BHX and 6th) Paris - three daily. IOM - Saturday morning Hanover - Weekend only until winter Aberdeen sees them occasionally from BHX, the odd Newquay flight has seen them and Inverness. Currently the Q400 operates for the 175 on either the first out DUS, EDI or GLA, one or two in the afternoon usually Dusseldorf, Amsterdams or Belfast and in the evening the Dusseldorf, Belfast or Edinburgh. As I say today it was better with just the first Glasgow, afternoon BHD and evening DUS subbed to the Dash 8. Winter was showing 195's to CDG and AMS x 2 with EDI in between plus 6 175's (AMS, EDI, STR, MXP, DUS & GLA in the morning) Just to add that one 175 seems to have been away on maintenance during this period Pete |
Ah! Great! Many thanks Olton Pete and very helpful. :ok:
I used the Q400 from LTN to IOM a fair amount before the big change. |
Flybe Timetable
Flybe have update their timetable again, and it now shows the suspension of the SEN-CFR route for the winter. Interestingly, Munster flights are once again on offer for christmas, and are bookable. Adam :) |
The SEN-CFR route is suspended between 6th January and 17th February, not for the whole winter. Indeed, frequency for the winter timetable is increased from 2 x weekly to 3 x weekly on the route with better scheduling.
It's encouraging to see SEN-FMO now being operated over the Christmas period as that makes its return next summer more likely. |
Flybe haven't suspended the route, Stobart Air have.
|
Flybe are suspending the Jersey to EMA route for the winter.

Press release today announcing continuation of E195 operated sunshine routes from EXT for S16, with addition of NWI:
Flybe | Corporate | Media | News archive EXT flights to AGP, ALC, FAO and PMI (as usual) and NWI flights to AGP and ALC. Assume this will be on a single 195 with W patterns to NWI from the Spanish mainland destinations. |
Does anyone know when Flybe release their summer 16 schedules?
|
The continued use of the E195s isn't all that surprising as they would be paying for them even if they are parked, so might as well make use of them.
I'm actually surprised we didn't see this as EXT & NQY looking at the possible return of FR to operate to ALC ! I'm pretty sure that NQY would of bitten the flybe hands off for some route on the E95, also sure they could fill it on MAN. cs |
According to the linked article November 10th will be the release of the summer 16 schedule.

Thank you.

Let's hope they do something similar out of SOU
|
I never thought I'd see Flybe come back to NWI with more routes but if any are going to work from the airport it would be flights to mainland Spain, as that's what people from the area have been crying out for. As long as they are priced well it should cancel out the cost of the ADF at NWI that puts some people off the Airport.
I see it says that these will be year round destinations from both airports now, along with greater frequency from EXT to Geneva from Winter 2016 and also starting from NWI to Geneva then as well. It says a five year deal has been reached, does this mean (depending that they get good pax numbers) there will be use for another one of the Emb-195's for the next five years? |
Surely those E95s that will remain should now get the purple makeover ?

Ethiopia
Can only speculate whether this means that Condition 1 of the respective airports' Public Use Aerodrome Licences may not be fully complied with in respect of terms and conditions? "1. The aerodrome is licensed for public use and shall at all times when it is available for the take-off or landing of aircraft be so available to all persons on equal terms and conditions." |

If you look back two posts to 280 your see it has already been mentioned here plus both the Birmingham and Manchester threads have discussions regarding Flybe to Rotterdam. |
