The new Servisair 'Aspire' lounge (formerly the Flybe lounge) is now open

BHD2BFS 3rd May 2014 15:07

No wonder, so many business travellers used BHD, 2 new lounges in the last couple of months costing I'm sure over £500k between them
Makes BFS lounge rather embarrassing

stab3.5up 3rd May 2014 15:20

Surely bfs will go aspire at the v least.

Full Emergency??

Any idea what is going on at BHD now? Fire, Police and Ambulance going in at gate 1 on blue lights

GAZMO 5th May 2014 18:27

Planes seem to be taking off and landing as normal going by the website.

Maybe someone closer can answer

El Bunto 5th May 2014 20:12

Aircraft operating BE409 out to Birmingham declared a problem and returned to airport.

Pax swapped to another a/c and departed again. Birmingham flights not yet caught up but delay now reduced to about an hour.

Doesn't seem to have been a serious problem as the aircraft went out later on Glasgow run.

GAZMO 8th May 2014 07:05

DSA arrival and departure cancelled again this morning!!! Third time since launch of route. Anybody know today's reason

tomhenshaw 8th May 2014 08:12

LNQ 200/201

This mornings rotation wasn't actually scheduled or on sale, it was never scheduled at DSA anyway - must have been some miscommunication at BHD..

Are be doing agp from bhd over the winter?

EI-A330-300 19th May 2014 16:00

Aer Lingus will increase capacity on LGW from Thursday by replacing the based 319 with 320 for the remainder of the season. Winter is still showing 319 but early days for that I expect.

GAZMO 19th May 2014 16:18

How many extra seats on A320?

EI-A330-300 19th May 2014 16:38

30 on each flight so 180 each day.

stab3.5up 19th May 2014 17:47

I thought the 320 was only these weekend because of strike. If here longer all good too see

keep_er_lit 19th May 2014 18:37

A320 on LGW for the rest of the summer. A320 on FAO and AGP. A319 on LHR and PMI

Jack1985 19th May 2014 19:40

I thought the 320 was only these weekend because of strike.
The proposed strike does not affect any of the BHD op's. The larger based aircraft is in direct response to increased demand on the BHD-LGW sector.

BHD2BFS 19th May 2014 19:57

Perhaps the will increase LGW to 4 a day for W schedule since they know there is demand
Could the ever consider A321?
