Although that still means that it is selling well.

Not if they started with 6 at that price......

As to runway.....:ugh: Using your logic...scared...but hey it's cheap.

i doubt they would do just 6 at one price but i suppose its a possibility

and for the runway, no need to :ugh:. You guys dont seem to have much humour.

What i meant by that is that they would probably have to use every bit of the runway with full PAX. Still dont understand why Ryanair couldnt have done it?

738 a deal bigger than 733, and also Ryanair would not accept touching down enroute to refuel etc, and while BmiBaby say it will be nonstop, just wait and see on the outbound Malaga and Faro whether they need to touch down in say Bilbao, north Spain, or even Bournemouth!

Thats right, forgot the Bmi Baby was only a 737-300! , they will have to use every last drop of fuel for Faro

Don't worry, in the worst case of 30c and a very low pressure day calm winds we might be limited to 137 pax with a southerly jet stream, in which case you'll have better weather in Belfast than Faro!

In any event you'll be put on flight to either EMA or BHX then on to FAO and get denied boarding and vouchers, in other words it won't happen! Everyone said the same about EMA MLA it's never happened, a bigger risk is making sure we get back befoe BHD shuts

With regard to prices choice is yours but despite the comments these flight are selling well and you can expect some more routes from BHD for next Summer in the final winter release.

BHD2BFS 20th Jul 2011 21:05

inkjet is this your own opinion that new routes may be launched, or do you know that new routes will be launched? i really hope there is, i think we could do with a prague or german route :)

We have some gaps, we don't do gaps, but no not PRG in Summer maybe winter 2012/13 you'll have to wait until NOV/DEC for confirmation.

Overnight Parking @ BHD

It seems that the following stayed overnight on Wed:

1 x A320 - BMI
1 x B733 - BMI Baby
2 x E195 - flyBe
7 x DH8D - flyBe
1 x L410 - Manx2

= 12 overnighters

With only 10 stands on the main apron in the AIP where do the extra 2 a/c go?

Facelookbovvered 21st Jul 2011 15:39

Two baby night stoppers from Nov, the early STN & early EMA

I don't know for certain, but IIRC the Manx2 and one FlyBe Q400 are parked up by the old terminal and passengers on the first flights are bussed over on the natty yellow bus (built in NI :ok:) that is usually parked up at the very northern end of the ramp.

bmibaby BHD-MAN

As we all know bmibaby's MAN base will close at the end of October, however they had scheduled to continue a single daily Belfast - Manchester service after this date. A bit of an odd-ball thing to do we all thought... Well, it has now been taken off sale and pulled from the timetables, im sure no surprises there though.

Jamie2k9 25th Jul 2011 16:37

Bho - lstn

LSTN going down to 2 daily Mon - Fri from 31 October. Its 3 now.

Doesn't look too good.....

Jamie2k9 25th Jul 2011 16:47

LSTN reduction seems to be for Nov, Dec, Jan and early Feb. Goes back to 3 daily MON - FRI in mid Feb.

Thomas Cooke A320 at BHD

Someone earlier said that it was in on 8 July and would be back twice 15 and 22nd yet it appeared today

The TCX A321 today was bringing last weeks passengers home, today was the last time it will be in and it shortly departed after again the time going back to EMA.

Jamie2k9 4th Aug 2011 21:45

Bmibaby's Belfast - Geneva will be helped as Direct Ski are buying seats to sell ski hoildays.

BHD2BFS 8th Aug 2011 10:31

any more news about more new routes potentially being launched by baby?
also has anyone heard if we will get our cork route back soon? surely there is demand for the service

tommyc2005 17th Aug 2011 09:06

STN figures still creeping northwards....I'd say now out of 'poor' and into 'mediocre' territory:

(Average pax per flight)
Jul: 70
Jun: 65.9
May: 48.2
Apr: 44.7
Mar: 33.9
