They have two Neos 767 is operation now. The other was seen at GLA today.

Seems a bit strange to me, as in the background there seems to be a baggage truck half way over to (with bags on!)

I didnt hear about this so im guessing the flight went with out much trouble.

The Globespan aircraft was not damaged at all, just a skid mark left from the rubber on the front edge of the steps, a bit of Tcut soon got that off, the aircraft was then allowed to depart, the only damage was to the steps and the mobile belt, all this was down to the Travel City Direct 747 doing a U turn on taxiway Delta. it could have been a lot worse, thankfully the crew working on the aircraft were near the forward hold at the time.

bfs-sfb 7 members of my family came over on that a/c today half in biz half in prem flight landed about 15 minutes late but they were all verry happy its there first time comming here without stopping in newark on continental .

GSM are operating a Toronto flight over the winter season, the flight operates GLA-MAN-YHM-MAN-GLA. The inbound flight leaves YHM at 0900 and arrive GLA 2145. So looks like the aircraft is going to overnight in Canada.

i have used fgs 4 times the last 6 months to sfb and have tried to leave feedback on airlinequality and none have been posted dont believe all you read

Yvonnelynch, if you go to the airline-quality website, it actually states that most of the reviews submitted by passengers are not posted. It goes onto say that they reserve the right to edit posts, publish or not publish, and even modify to match the trend of postings.
Of all the airline rating sites, airline quality are the most respected, and are completely independent.
It would appear that you were lucky with your Globespan customer experience.

The TF-FIT went tech out of YHM today. Had to return. As a result the SNN-YHM is being operated by a B738 instead via KEF. Ouch! Some unhappy punters there! :cool:

I saw the report on the news here in Hamilton. From what I can recall from the report, the flight turned back within minutes of takeoff Thursday night. Passengers reported hearing bangs followed by flames from an engine, but technicians suspect faulty hydralics in a wing flap were responsible for the sounds. At any rate the plane is on the ground and a replacement part is being fitted. The flight is rescheduled for Saturday around noon EDT.

Honest man, I have no personal axe to grind but I feel I should point out that Lufthansa have been sending a 737 across the pond for a couple of years now. The Globespan 737 I undertand is in fact a brand new 737-700 ETOPS equped and approved. OK its only got a single aisle but then I believe that the 707 was only single aisled.
If the loads only warrwant a 737 load then surely that is what is required or do you put a fancy 250 seater on a route that only needs a 150 seater? Then charge more for the empty seats?

But then again is sending a 737 over the 'Pond' any different to Delta, Continental etc sending 757's over, there single isle and in those configurations not that many more seats, a planes a plane, its like saying you need a 760li to drive from Cardiff to Glasgow but a Mini would do the job just as well wouldn it same pricipal here but only in the air you take what you got and what suits you and the needs of the passengers.:ok:

What's your point? GSM's B752 is a former IcelandAir aircraft in J and Y class config. as is the aircraft in question that is tech. The 737 on the 'YHM' route is temporary although the GLA-BOS is supposed to be on a 737.
