Neo's are a model series of aircraft, sharklets are what is installed on the NEO's or can be installed on the CEO's.
My guess would be that TCX next delivery of A321s, will have Sharklets fitted.

Is G-FCLF not being WFU this winter?

Nextprop 3rd Nov 2013 17:49

G-FCLF has already been withdrawn from use, hence why it is receiving maintenance end of lease now at Southend.

From Travel Mole:

UK to fly first Thomas Cook aircraft in new livery

OntimeexceptACARS 7th Nov 2013 21:07

215 seats on a Ted Rogers....blimey!

Curious Pax 8th Nov 2013 08:27

Interesting - there is a Condor 753 in the Manchester TCX hangar at the moment that was reported to be going into Air Livery next door once spannering was finished for a coat of the new paint. Either the news article is wrong, or the spannering will take a month.

rutankrd 8th Nov 2013 09:02

Where in that article does it imply that G-TCDB will be the first group plane in Sunny Heart and stealth grey ?

It just say first UK plane to be factory fresh delivered in the livery.

The current Condor B753 is expected to be out of the spray bay around the same time.

Curious Pax 8th Nov 2013 10:05

Re-reading the article we are both wide of the mark:

"The first brand-new aircraft to sport Thomas Cook Group's redesigned livery will begin operating in the UK next month."

They are referring to the first factory-fresh aircraft in the new group livery, as opposed to first UK or first existing aircraft.

G-TCDB is already in the old livery. It'll be G-TCDC that is delivered in the new livery.

clipstone1 8th Nov 2013 15:32

215 seats on a 321 is not high for a single class aircraft. First Choice used to operate them at 218.....

caaardiff 8th Nov 2013 21:19

TCX current A321 are 220 seats. Have they finally realised the legroom is terrible? Will the new aircraft have slimline seats?

SWBKCB 9th Nov 2013 05:55

Row 37 looks to be in the centre of the action :yuk:
