Does anyone know if a new CP has been selected yet? It can't be long before the old one leaves if he is on 3 months notice. I would have thought the new one must be lined up ready and at least having all of his integrity removed surgically as well as the full charisma bypass before taking over.

Unless of course the old one isn't leaving and it was all a big joke!

Well Eastern Airways have acquired a further Embrear 145.

As G-CHMR (Ex OE-IAM) was due in to Humberside this evening on delivery flight from Lille

Must be going bust if they are buying lots of aircraft :)

How many do they have now, 4?

Wellington Bomber 23rd Aug 2012 12:22

They now have 5

Night_Watch 23rd Aug 2012 20:27

Don't forget the space rocket.

budlee 25th Aug 2012 11:16

My, my - 3% payrise.

Who would have thought it?

Wetdream 25th Aug 2012 18:44

Whoo! You will all be rich!

I suppose it's not a bad offer although I think it must have been at least 4 years since the last one, maybe more, unless there has been a rise in the last year or so.

Still no reply as to who the new cp will be, surely one must have been picked by now?

vintagemember 26th Aug 2012 11:04

Is it true the CP is leaving? Probably worth putting garlic, a rosary and a crucifix in one's flight bag.

Make that 2 spitfires, one just purchased from an accident and been rebuilt

Subject: SJ - Leaving Collection
Dear All

We're putting together a collection for SJ, please can you filter this through to all pilots and then XXXX will co-ordinate collecting the contributions.

Could you please arrange to send all contributions to HUY before the end of next week, (Friday 7th September) -- SJ's day will be on the 13th!

Thanks

XXXXX
Must be off their rockers, who is going to contribute to that? I've never known someone so despised, I cant think of a single person who was not delighted at the news of his departure.

Wetdream 2nd Sep 2012 06:37

Well that's it then, he is definitely going! Who would have thought it? I presume he has left under his own steam or has he been pushed?

He seemed to start out with good intentions but just got more rotten as time went by, possibly due to pressure from above.

All they need to do now is get rid of the rest of the spineless puppets and the airline could be a good place to work. Good luck boys and girls!

Hi,
anyone who is working for this company knows if they still need staff for MXP base? they told me that they would do interviews for MXP base in August or September but since now i did not hear from them anymore, i tried to send to the properly department an e-mail to have some more news but nobody replied to me.
Thanks to everyone who could reply...

budlee 7th Sep 2012 20:04

Farfallina - you are going to have difficulty in finding anyone who knows about Milan, because it is a COMPLETELY different and separate setup from normal Eastern activities. Nobody from a normal Eastern base could help you, even if they wanted to.

ok thanks anyway but maybe some cabin crew or F/O or Captains already working for MXB could reply to me with some more details, isn't it? even if it's a separate kind of business...

fjencl 8th Sep 2012 14:33

Which bases have the embraer 145's ????

Wetdream 9th Sep 2012 12:52

I think the only real base for the Embraer is Milan.

I think the Embraers do mostly charter work, and filling in for tech aircraft of aircraft that can't be crewed due to sickness etc :)

budlee 9th Sep 2012 16:07

But surely standby crews would cover for sickness etc????

farfallina 9th Sep 2012 16:19

so the embraer is already based in Milan or do they still need to base it there? and what about sickness crew?Which kind of charter flights they do from there? I knew that they were flying for Wolkswagen or something like that...

airhumberside 10th Sep 2012 19:50

The Volkswagen TRN-BWE is operated with the MXP based aircraft, along with a regular MXP-FAB charter. Also some ad-hoc charters
