Interestingly enough, this is the only delay GSM has had through SFB except for the terrorist plot disruption in London. Amazing how an airline with only 1 long haul aircraft can do daily flights over the pond and go almost 4 months with only 1 delay. :ok:

Anyone can make a mistake jet_stream.
If proven that the individual made an honest mistake, then no repurcussions should be enforced.
Anyway, this situation shall not be discussed on a public forum.

Yes but a crew member who is on probation...that's a different story....and for 2 crew members to make a mistake at the same time is unacceptable. Remember this slide blew onto an airbridge with ground personel on it.

Having the slide blow when I open the doors is my biggest fear!:\ I wonder did he/she not disarm the door/crosscheck by pure accident, or was there a fault with the slide?

That changes the situation indeed and is not something I expect from our well-trained and very competent cabin-crew.
I am sure that the new CC Manager will make a wise decision. (what a way to start!)

Mistakes can and were made. Jetstream if you were on that crew you will know that. But as said this is not the place to discuss.
