New routes from Vilnius (as Air Lituanica called it quits yesterday):

Vilnius-Billund (2x weekly from 14SEP)
Vilnius-Stockholm Skavsta (3x weekly from 15SEP)

I can bet Vilnius-Billund will be canceled before starting.

FY2014/2015 results: revenue up 21%; 16,5 million passengers carried (+18%); net profit EUR 183 million (+109%). Unit cost down 3% (to 3,61 cents/ASK). Cash and equivalents EUR 449 million.

Too much to ask for a pay rise ?

Why? Can you give some argumentation?

I only understand that WZZ do not exactly pay "Industry Leading Salaries ".
In the light of their "Bumper Profits", would it not be appropriate if they started paying their employees something nearer to a reasonable salary ?
You never know, maybe some of their lower paid pilots might not desert them at the earliest opportunity !

Strong profits does not usually imply salary increases unless there is strong dissent (ie desire to consider a strike). Companies will typically pay no more than the "market rate". While there is availability of potential new employees, big pay rises are unlikely. Perhaps disappointing but that's how capitalism works
