CODA now have a Flybe Ad on their web homepage, it is eye-catching and will make a lot more people aware of the route. I can´t wait to watch the first Dash 8 land next Thursday!

I'd be really pi$$ed off if they moved the BHX flight to EMA, as it's the one I use most out of CODA. Recent stats would suggest the route is becoming more and more popular, and dropping it in my mind would be pretty stupid........but then this is RYR we're talking about.

Having said that, a 2xdaily BE would be even better!

Great to see the charters up and running now, and with BE starting next week, it's going well for CODA at the minute. Long may it continue.

Jamie, although your stats are undoubtedly accurate, they probably are skewed by the fact the first flight from Tenerife to Derry was probably very, very empty.

I could be wrong but is four rows not 24 seats (6 seats per row)? You seem to have accounted for 12. Wouldn't change the figure that much though.

I done tham on 177 max per flight and with CARNMANORLAD est on TFS the other day 177 per flight would be about right.

Fair enough, I have no idea how many seats are unavailable on these flights. Even if you ignore seats that cannot be sold due to restrictions the figure would be 85% of the plane filled which is really good going for a new route.

I should think 85/90% LF's shouldn't go unnoticed within Ryanair... Roll on next year and the extra sun routes it brings! :E

And CU, a double daily to B'ham would be very handy indeed! Does Ryanair really want to give BE the opportunity though. When I return from placement to Uni in Birmingham, I really would miss some of the cheap flights home! I remember before Visa Electron gained a charge, I got return flights home for just £15! Very enticing if you're a cash strapped student! :O

109,000 passengers so far and up 15% on last year really is good news! Hopefully it'll continue to grow at that rate.

Also some may be interested in the amount of business travel we've received recently. Since yesterday I've seen on the boards a flight arrive in from Heathrow and continue on to St Paul - Mineapolis (Gulstream 550). And today a flight also arrived in from Heathrow, and another flight arrived in from Belgium and is going back this afternoon.

Very excited about the imminent arrival of BE. And also interested to find out the load factors!

Great to see BE on the arrivals boards tonight looks well. Hope to hear some sort of positive news tomorrow during the briefing that someone from Flybe will make.

Great flight back from TFS departed on time and landed 25mins ahead of schedule. The 0615 departure is horrible though as it was a 0245 pick-up from hotel.

Flew LDY-BHX earlier today. 143 on the inbound, and at least 134 (I was no.134!) on the outbound. It seems silly to me that there is doubt over this route for the winter.

I saw the two business jets that you were talking about Northern. (N75UH and OL-LIE....or similar). I think one was heading out to Belgium shortly after I departed.

What has been overlooked is the increase to 6x2week to both LPL and PIK from this week. This offers around the same number of extra seats as the BE MAN route! It'd be great to hear a bit more good news, with an extra route or two from BE tomorrow. Here's hoping.

The G5 was United Healthcare's N57UH. Arrived from St Pauls Last night and then departed to Heathrow. It came back from Heathrow this morning and is parked up.
OO-LIE c25b came from and to Belgium today and a German c551 who's reg i can't remember also came from Belgium this morning and went out an hour or so later to Hamburg.
For a few hours it looked like an airport might break out but reality soon returned! Here's to more such days soon.... AE
