Cimber Air to start NCL-CPH?

Looking at the draft IATA Winter schedules, it looks like QI will start a 1 x Daily NCL-CPH service using CRJ a.c.

what kind of fares can we expect on this route?
I thought that EZY were thinking of taking on this route or Ryanair were going to offer some Scandanavian routes this winter.

what other stuff is happening at Newcastle this winter.
Flybe are cutting the number of rotations but increasing seating capacity on the routes they are offering
KLM have six rotations-the early morning AMS coming into NCL at 0730, not usually that early is it?

This flight operated for a couple of seasons a few years ago but was then dropped.

Yeh it has been on and off for the past few seasons.
Are Flybe still dropping the 146 for a Dash on the NCL-CDG route?
Here are my predictions for what they are worth:
FR to increase DUB to 3 or 4 daily
FR to increase presence at airport with Scandanavian routes to Oslo Torp
From what Iv heard on here T3 arent doing as well they thought they would maybe they will reduce some of their route frequencies

I would imagine NCL-CDG staying on the BAE 146-300.

Flybe will continue to use the BAe146-300 on NCL-CDG, and there are no plans to change that at present. Infact, the Air France contract does not have long to run until it is time for renewal. It is unlikely BE would type rate the 146 drivers on the Dash-400 to operate the route without first knowing whether the contract was safe, or that there was more Q400 work at NCL.

The Dash loads are good on the BHD, and are building steadily after a slump in the spring.

Cimber air may well make business for themselves on the CPH however yet again, a good route into scandinavia spoiled by bad timings. They operated NCL-CPH some years ago with the ATR-42 when SAS dropped it after a period of Fokker 50 operation, it was subsequently withdrawn however.

Three months ago I saw a document which linked easyJet with both Copenhagen and Rome Ciampino from NCL. Would be good to see U2 on these routes, of course in addition to BRS/CDG/PRG from August.

The KLC early inbound from AMS has been operating on and off for a good while now. At one time, it was canx most of the time, at others it operated with not good loads - however if it is pencilled in again, good luck to them.

Where was the information gained that the BHD frequencies will decrease and the capacity increase? It is well known that if the route stays (which it will) it will have to go to a Q400 as there are no classics left after Christmas - therefore the capacity increase. It is probably the fact that the CRJ will not be operating the BHD-NCL-BHD once daily anymore as it will be gone, and not that the NCL based aircraft's flying will be reduced.

Cheers,

Well if EZY do introduce a NCL-CPH lets hope that Cimber dont do an Aer Arrann when Ryanair came along.

From July Flybe will drop the CRJ rotation on the NCL-BHD route which will leave four rotations a day instead of five.

Finally NCL is starting to get direct flights to Europe what with QI to CPH, the new EZY flights to be decided... Business is picking up.

Does anyone think a NCL-EWR/JFK flight be sustainable? I suspect the airport bosses do, as there are plans to make the runway longer, and plans to build a new terminal area.

If anyone is familiar with NCL, the new terminal is intended to go where the fuelling stations are. Anyone have any info?

This is the first I have heard about the new terminal but it is good news.
The scheduled check in area does get pretty busy round rush hour. Is it going to be a new check in area or just lounges and things like that?
Will it also mean that there will be no need to get a bus across to the remote stands?
When is the building work set to start?

Not sure that Newcastle could cope with a direct JFK/EWR route. Perhaps if it routed via EDI or came in from OSL/CPH or Stockholm then maybe
