This is the first I have heard about the new terminal but it is good news.
The scheduled check in area does get pretty busy round rush hour. Is it going to be a new check in area or just lounges and things like that?
Will it also mean that there will be no need to get a bus across to the remote stands?
When is the building work set to start?
Not sure that Newcastle could cope with a direct JFK/EWR route. Perhaps if it routed via EDI or came in from OSL/CPH or Stockholm then maybe
