SEN Update on Development
Recently at SEN I saw the different runway extension upgrades. Passing the nearby church which is the 'fly in the ointment' you might say, I also saw a meeting plus many placards against the plans. Can someone give me the timescales etc for and as to when SOS council reach a decision, as the impression I got was without an extension the airport would close. The outcome to aviation watchers seems bleak without improvements and it is also the home of B 707 HZ 123, anyone any news on that. Rgds

Replies to Southend Council must be in by 10 Feb 2003, so not much time. Suffice to say there have been at least 600 anti airport development letters so far, so any supporting it are badly needed...
