Have applied to the CAA to lease 2 x TU-204's Egyptian registered for additional capacity over this coming winter.
I think they are the freighter version?

I understand that Cougar Leasing is taking over the two Tupolev Tu-204-120C aircraft that were operating with Heavylift prior to its collapse.
Heavylift was operating both aircraft for TNT, and they will remain operating with TNT, It’s a straight transfer of what the aircraft were doing before.
Cougar, will also conduct its own evaluation of the Tu-204 ahead of its certification by European authorities.

So, with Cougar now NOT getting the B747's, and NOT getting the B737's, and NOT getting the MD11, what does the future hold? The B727-200RE is going to be driven out of the European market in June due to noise limitations and the TU204's are crewed by Russians.
Does this mark the start of the end of Cougar? I mean, will KN close up shop and leave his crews and ground staff standing in the dole queue? Quite possibly I'd say.........

It would be very sad indeed however I was reading a letter in Airliner World I think that was written by an ex Sabre 727 FE (might of been ex Cougar as well) who was singing KN's praises.

VIKING9,
Sorry mate dont mean to get on your back here but do you actually have a good word to say about any airline??? l would have thought the good long while you have worked in aviation that you would realise it doesn't do to upset some people who read these pages and happen to have a a bit of clout..........remember it might be you applying for a job for the company you maybe slagged of 6 days or months ago.
thanks.
