On the day or in advance? Not unusual to see some business flights cancelled on a Bank Holiday where there are multiple frequencies.

Looks like on the day as didn't notice it yesterday when I looked. Happy to be corrected though.

Flew back from BHX on Saturday and there was loads of delays and cancellations. I flew back at 18:45 and landed home before the passengers off both previous flights.

I know Saturday there were delays due bad weather. Flight to Cardiff diverted to Liverpool after failed attempts at landing but to Emeralds credit they did fly back to Cardiff from Liverpool and landed successfully. Also the Isle of man had several attempts but ended up back in Belfast. I believe an aircraft was tech in Birmingham too.

Emerald flight cancellations ongoing.

Am I the only person curious about the daily cancellations from Emerald. Nobody seems to talk about it, why? When ever flybe2 cancelled anything people were all over it. I do like Emerald as an airline and have seen robust operations with good time keeping. I am curious as to the reason why these cancellations are happening. Is the issue with crewing levels/ aircraft availability / EU reg v UK reg / or high competition from other airlines causing low passenger numbers and hence planned schedule reductions to secure finances? Thoughts anyone?

My friends flight from Exeter to. Belfast City was diverted to Dublin with a bus to. Belfast. Any idea why?

There seems to be a wall of silence on this issue.

Not sure about this specifically but I've heard that Emerald are having crewing challenges and this is impacting schedules and cancellations. There is also a strike on the horizon so that may be part of the near term issue too.

Its getting a bit mental with Emerald what ever is going on. Suspect it's probably the transition to G reg that is a root but still not good for the EI brand.
