There seems to be problems with the two flights to Spain this morning from Stansted. The Malaga departed just short of five hours late and the Alicante had not left by 12 noon local six hours and counting. Pity because everything seemed to have settled down somewhat.
This is due to the fault with OY-PSE, which has meant for the last few days OY-PSA has been rostered for routes from both Scandinavia and Stansted, leaving the STN flights with quite severe delays, and leaving the Malaga flight last night cancelled

Has today’s Stansted- Newark departed yet FR24 is still showing the flight as unknown.
Also does anyone know where PAF, the new 321 will be based and when, I really hope it is replacing National at Stansted.

Hardly likely to have been at Gloucester (Staverton) as it has no suitable maintenance facilities. More likely to have been an incorrect input on the routing.
But does anything surprise us with this shambles of an outfit !

More likely to be a FR24 glitch than anything to do with Primera

It was a knock on effect from Saturday, it looks like the aircraft went tech Saturday morning, so they delayed Saturdays PF2933 till Sunday at 08:00, a 25hour delay, Saturdays PF2937 to Palma operated over 3 hours late, Sundays PF2937 to Palma delayed by over an hour, and once the aircraft arrives back at Birmingham later this evening, the delayed Sunday PF2933 will then operate!! quite a mess!

I have very really been delayed, only 3x I can recall, Ryanair 3 hrs due aircraft needed for another route due curfew Virgin from Las Vegas 6 hrs due it medical division on inbound but sorry to say Monarch was by far the worst At 34 hrs in Ibiza with no vouchers or hotels I was offered a flight to Manchester with no onward travel provided to Gatwick this was due division to nice with tech problem and then crewing issues it was by far the worst flight ever and was the reason I stayed clear of Monarch.

Why are you still at Primera? There are other cabin crew jobs out there. Rather than be miserable and vocerifcously moan on a public forum why not just leave? Many of your concerns are genuine but one or two are pure spite. Reduce the poison and just leave - you will feel better and those that are left will be also. Things are steadily improving at Primera but there’s a very long way to go. Those passengers that have flown the Neo across the Atlantic have generally been impressed with the service. There is definitely potential in the operation if and when things settle down! Those that want to make it a success will stay and those that don’t should probably leave for everyone’s sake!

Just as a matter of interest are have those that been seriously delayed been given hotel accommodation or vouchers?

It has taken Norwegian the best part of a year to get the narrow body long haul operation more or less up to speed and this for a company that already had a substantial long haul operation in place for 3 years with the 787.
This is a huge ask for Primera, I do hope they haven’t bitten off more than they can chew.

Yes it is a big ask no two ways about it but Primera feel if they didn’t grasp the chance, someone else would. Other airlines are looking very closely at the operation and will no doubt follow suit shortly. The loads are generally very good on the longhaul operation and I’m certain there is a market for this business model.
It is a very steep learning curve for Primera and those of us committed to the operation hope that the management and operational lessons learned so far are put into practice long term.
