Can you explain? The Scottish Government isn't blamed in the article and indeed many of the routes Loganair offer are funded by the Scottish government as lifeline routes.
And how is this the start? Loganair are just the latest airline to announce job cuts..not sure if you've been paying attention but airlines in every corner of the globe have had to take similar action..are they also the victims of this mysterious "Dr Sturgeon?"

I am due to fly with Loganair Glasgow to Campbeltown next week and I have noticed that since at least Wednesday this week, all flights have so far been cancelled, both morning and evening ?
Anyone have any info or reasons for all the flights to be cancelled ? This must severley impact such a remote community. Glasgow to Campbeltown by air 30 mins by Car or bus 4 hours plus !
WDYK ?

Combinations were regular through lockdown and can happen occasionally, but not planned (to the best of my knowledge).
And the 340A Freighters are still in the fleet - just swapping out for C Checks. G-GNTB went out to Orebro today, G-GNTF is just about to coast in over Peterhead on its way back from Orebro to Inverness now.

The main customer of the flights is the NHS.
4 hours is a bit of an exaggeration, unless the A83 is closed at the Rest. More like 3.
According to Jethro’s fleet listing LM have withdrawn both of there SF340A freighters (G-GNTB/G-GNTF)
I guess if you want to drive it non stop 3 hours is possible, but I would, for safety, stop and have a rest if I had to drive it. Essential at my age.

Far from being left to rot, the 328s are on a care and maintenance programme and hangared around half the time each. Several sales prospects still live, apparently, but a few have fallen through along the way since the aircraft came out of the operational fleet 18 months ago. Part-out remains an option but not preferred.
