I find them to be super reliable each time I have used them. I do hope they get their act together as they play an important role for affordable regional connectivity throughout the UK.

DC9_10 you said the route was axed and that's why they're called flymaybe. So what's factual about that statement? Absolutely nothing. If you said they're called flymaybe because the dash 8 reliability is suspect then that's probably more factual. Either way, the phrase is pathetic and you sound about as smart and as clever as my shoe, i.e. not very.
Don't think so. It's just a humorous quip , & play on words , based on their overall record. It might be a bit unfair on some occasions but, overall, bears a reasonable amount of relevance to what many people have experienced over the years with BEE . Don't take these things so seriously.

Jethro's reports Flybe are using a CityJet RJ85 for the Cardiff LCY route. Short of 'planes?

There's a thought. Was Mr H. plotting a CityJet/Stobart/Flybe consolidation without the board's approval?

Düsseldorf Base Announced

Tucked away in the Regulatory News this morning

From this strong position, over the next 12 months, we will open our
first European base in Dusseldorf and continue to cautiously test routes to maximise the returns from our existing capacity

not as bad as might have been expected, but far from good and a takeover target for sure!

Wonder if the DUS base means one of the following:

- just minimize costs as two aircraft are already nightstopping there
- expand the DUS - UK route network with the help of code-sharing with AB
- enter the German domestic market filling the gaps that reuslt from the retrenchement of AB and EW from certain markets
- enter into regional cross-border flights to, say, France and Italy where BE already has a presence
- enter into white label flying for AB or EW

That's sad, looks like Loganair will go it alone, unless BA want to re-enter franchise options.

Perhaps this is the reason for the schedules not being out yet for S17

Is this just end of franchise, or also the end of the Flybe-Loganair codeshare as well ?

Loganair will take to the air in its own right once again in Autumn 2017 after nearly quarter of a century flying under franchise arrangements with other airlines

The move will create a national airline for Scotland, headquartered in Scotland
