I find them to be super reliable each time I have used them. I do hope they get their act together as they play an important role for affordable regional connectivity throughout the UK.
canberra97, um, yeah I'm well aware that's what some on here call flybe, my point is it's dull, old, childish and certainly not clever. Infact it's bordering on pathetic and makes the poster sound like a ten year old goon.
DC9_10 you said the route was axed and that's why they're called flymaybe. So what's factual about that statement? Absolutely nothing. If you said they're called flymaybe because the dash 8 reliability is suspect then that's probably more factual. Either way, the phrase is pathetic and you sound about as smart and as clever as my shoe, i.e. not very.

Düsseldorf Base Announced
Tucked away in the Regulatory News this morning
From this strong position, over the next 12 months, we will open our
first European base in Dusseldorf and continue to cautiously test routes to maximise the returns from our existing capacity

Wonder if the DUS base means one of the following:
- just minimize costs as two aircraft are already nightstopping there
- expand the DUS - UK route network with the help of code-sharing with AB
- enter the German domestic market filling the gaps that reuslt from the retrenchement of AB and EW from certain markets
- enter into regional cross-border flights to, say, France and Italy where BE already has a presence
- enter into white label flying for AB or EW
