New carrier to set up in Cyprus
Following the prolonged and messy demise of Cyprus Airways, a new carrier "Cobalt Air" is setting up on the island. They hope to register 7-10 aircraft by the end of the year.

A bit in and out of topic, but what was the original reason 2 established EU carriers (Aegean & Ryanair) didn't manage to get the AOC?
