War is official. The Civil Aviation Pilots' Union (SPAC) yesterday announced a ten-day strike in TAP: 1-10 May. The decision was made at a meeting attended by 500 pilots. The strike begins at midnight on 1 and ends at 23:59 on the 10th, five days before the deadline for competitors to the privatization of the company deliver proposals. However, two have already given up. The instability returns to TAP nearly four months after a tug of war that ended in agreement but that affected the company's operations at Christmas. Yesterday, the SPAC issued a 30-point that leaves no way for dialogue with the Government and the administration of TAP. In the list of claims, is the possibility of pilots stay with 10-20% of the privatized company, referring to a 1999 agreement, in force, in which they are guaranteed that right, but the president of TAP, Fernando Pinto, says it is a 'raise claims. " Now it is up to an arbitral tribunal set the minimum services - links to the Azores and Madeira - a decision that may be at risk because the court operates under the umbrella of the Economic and Social and when one of the parties - trade unions or employers - shall because some of the elements of the court, is the President of the ESC the decision. Now Silva Peneda runs May 1, there is no substitute, and only he can resolve conflicts. Yesterday, Economy Minister Pires de Lima, reiterated that the pilots are "the word of men," an allusion to the agreement of 23 December 2014. Prime Minister Passos Coelho, lamented but did not disclose they will ask the civil requisition . The Confederation of Tourism launched an appeal due to the losses in the sector

The SPAC - Union Of The Civil Aviation Pilots issued on Thursday a statement in order to "clarify that the deadlock in the agreement concluded in December."

In the note, the union says this "impasse" is due, "exclusively to the Government and TAP / PGA" points to the reasons: "It has been shown by the Government and TAP, over these months, the agreement December was just a ploy to deceive the pilots, any investors and the public, since neither the Government nor the TAP seek to fulfill with the word assumed. In fact, neither the Government nor the TAP were keen to resolve the interpretations of the resulting company agreements the December agreement; the issue of seniority referred to in the statement are part of the scope of the Company Agreement and therefore were part of the December agreement, adding even if its not spare is unconstitutional, in the scenario of privatization of TAP Group; Finally, the SPAC always kept his word and made it clear to this government, that the agreements are to be followed, including the celebrated with the Government and with TAP in 1999. "

On statements by the Secretary of State for Transport, Sergio Monteiro, Thursday, SPAC says these are "inaccurate", proving its considerations by sending a letter from TAP the syndicated on 23 March in Following the negotiations on the agreement concluded in December. In this letter, the pilots out the third paragraph, which states: "In relation to paragraph 18. (" Compensation "), again, the document submitted by SPAC, was reiterated by the TAP cited in 4 and 5 above, having TAP statement about what had been transmitted by the Government and which had already been made by the Government and which had already been presented to the remaining principal Unions 'Tripartite Agreement' - the compensation to be paid shall be composed of a single extraordinary provision of corresponding value the annual value (14 months) 1 unit (seniority salary) to be paid by the end of 2015; was not communicated to TAP any alternative hypothesis of this measure or any other complement "compensation" as reference. "

According to the national press, Sergio Monteiro, at the end of the Council of Ministers conference, asked about the threat of strike of the pilots said: "wonder at this position and, as said yesterday the Minister of Economy, and very well, men word fulfill agreements, which resulted from a process of dialogue and openness. So here I appeal for that agreement is enforced, not crosses my mind to be reversed. "

The minister also said that "before a set of legitimate concerns [regarding the privatization of TAP] that workers had the government accepted the creation of a working group to harmonize the possible areas of agreement, leaving it perfectly clear that the were not achieved
