Recent financial report I read suggested that they will have 6xA320Neo with an engine that no airline will currently take on lease being delivered this financial year. This will cost Norwegian $400k per airframe per month whilst remaining undelivered.

I have said it on another forum but I will repeat it here, I think it will all end in tears unfortunately. I have memories of Laker, peoplExpress etc.

I too share this belief and the one above. The overall subsidiary structure beneath the main holding is like something out of the Crystal Maze and must make for some difficult operating conditions.

Something's not quite right over at Norwegian.

Im not so sure about Laker mk2. Strangely its the LH network I have heard which is the glimmer of hope. I'm thinking its more likely to broken up and sold in parts - that LH business would be of interest to IAG I would have thought...

Sounds the most likely to me too. LH being the saviour ? I would have thought the opposite, prior to this year they had one of the lowest unit costs in the whole industry on their European SH network.

This LH venture seems to be what is holding them back to me at the moment.

saw a nice cabin pic of the new DY 737-8 Max (on one of the random North American routes to EDI ? SWF) and it was half empty! I had thought the eastbound would be rammed at high summer.

Perhaps you mean summer routes? I'm booked in February direct from Lanzarote to LGW.

From EDI only Copenhagen and Stockholm are loaded so far. Oslo is part of the TA operation, which is also not yet loaded when I last checked.

Tonight neither EDI flight is using the MAX. Have they not taken delivery of further a/c? When will they enter service?

And when will they release schedules for after March? Their website says flights can be booked 10 months ahead....
