Then off go the aircraft to SNN or DUB most probably.
has this actually been confirmed ?
thought that a strong rumor was knocking around that some of the 733s (6?) might be heading to LGW to be rebranded for the BA operation at Gatters.
how many are actually owned v leased ?

A/C are being ferried to Lasham, Norwich and Bournemouth on the 10th.
No idea what is happening to them after that

I took this the other day when in the hangar and realised it was the last time I'd see a baby aircraft at EMA. I'm not ashamed to admit I was a wee bit emotional.
Cheerio all at Baby. I've loved working with you all and I'll miss you. I just hope that everyone realises that nothing any bmi baby staff member ever did has any bearing on what has happened to the company now.

Quite an appropriate picture - their oldest aircraft at 20.7 years old (planespotters.net) and 55822 on the clock at 31/12/2011 per G-INFO and with the BMI Group througout.
Never had a bad flight with them
Never had a delayed flight with them
My only flight with an all female cockpit crew (BHX-PRG)
Good luck to all crew and back-room staff concerned and I will be keeping tabs on PRG-BHX Sunday night as this should be BHX's last ever commercial flight by BMI Baby .

Unless any flights pick up delays the WW5330 AGP-EMA scheduled for arrival at 2245 will be the last commercial WW flight
Here was my last shot of a Bmibaby. Was planning to put it on Planespotters but it got rejected:

I sang 'My baby just cares for me' in the check in hall at EMA at the launch of baby, back in 2002.
On my final shift in ops, in 2009, we put 'Bye Bye Baby' on the crew delay line.
But I never thought that within 3 1/2 years that would be it ?
I've never known such a sense of belonging and togetherness .
I was so proud to say that I worked for baby . I work for another airline, now, and I'm also proud to say the same about them, BUT ....
Bmibaby ... SIMPLY THE BEST!!

It'll certainly be strange driving out onto the EMA ramp without the babies all around the ramp and I know many of the Menzies crews will miss the banter and the working relationships with the Baby crews.
I'm intrigued as to what is going to happen to the massive BMIBaby route map in the departure hall as thats quite a major feature in EMA Departures.
News from the ramp. G-OBMP to operate this afternoons Malaga sectors scheduled to depart EMA at 16:05, returning 22:45. This will be operated with the WW chief pilot at the stick and is reported to be the same flight deck crew that operated the first EMA sector for BMIBaby, to Malaga
The triplets G-TOYF, G-TOYJ & G-TOYL on the 20s this morning

G-OBMP sitting on stand 70 this morning ready for her big day
