Adflys list very comprehensive as usual

While the Thomson and Ryanair flights remain the same as last summer there is only 1 Newmarket flight this year to Verona using Small Planet , given over the years how many flights they used to have its strange , the only thing I reckon is Thomson operating weekly to Naples has taken the core market away

There is 1 charter this summer only with Hays to Venice to pick up a cruise using a Titan 737 300

Cunard and P&O have nothing this summer ! the loads were really good last year and were very popular on all flights but they have also cut back on all regional UK departures so BOH is not alone in loosing the Titan flights

As regards the Barbados flights there are 4 planned from the winter with Hays and P&O using Thomson and extra flights to Norway are also planned

it has been up for sale since 16 April 2016 but I can't see any potential buyers, I can not confirm it's current location though.

VQ-BSK the B748BBJ has been the active machine at BOH in recent months, arriving from ALC yesterday for instance. Have not seen BAT for at least 6 months, but it was flying from BOH post the sale notice. Not every day that you can see a B74SP in the air!

As predicted, EZY begin their reductions from BOH - down to 5 days week for next winter. BOH really need to get their act together if they want to be seen as a proper airport able to sustain non bucket and spade routes.

Where was the online photo taken that you saw VP-BAT looking 'freshly polished' out of the hangar?

As predicted , begin their reductions ? , not sure about that .....

Easy Jet have put on sale in there 13th year of winter flights to Geneva starting in December again with 6 flights a week on offer including the usual 2 flights on a Saturday at the moment
Sunday became 2 flights from this Feb then daily from this weekend for a month

28, 384 passengers used the service in 2016 up 15%

Remains to be seen if they increase the service again , usually this happens later on in the season

P&O cruises have added 4 flights to Barbados this next winter 2017 / 18 with Hays travel more than likely to add there own charters later on . 2, 226 passengers travelled to BGI this last season compared to just 509 the year before

Light aircraft and the industrial areas are where the money is made.

Nothing new at the moment from Bournemouth regarding the summer Thomson schedule for 2018 , 1 based aircraft still

Exactly the same as this year although Dalaman is axed making no flights to Turkey next summer at this present time , remains to be seen how the loads pan out this summer with only 1 flight

March passenger figures show Bournemouth handled just short of 42 , 000 passengers up nearly 13 % on last winter

Thomson again saw all there flights go out about 95 % load factor

Ryanair saw good loads again with Krakow becoming there top performer with loads in the region of 180 per flight

Easy jet saw 8658 passengers use the route with 2 flights each weekend now being operated for March

Barbados saw the 2 cruise flights operated by Thomson 767 on behalf of P & O and Hays own private charter go full up again

current pax figures

The numbers supplied by Markeyd must prove that there is a market from Bmth
Why cant some Airline or Tour Operator grasp the nettle and see that a market
does exist. The figures published are very promising.Watch This Space.

I agree. There is a market from Bournemouth, but, so far, it's not huge. Nevertheless, it should be able to increase it somewhat with a bit of pro-active action by a determined operator. However, the figures for March show a very healthy load factor but they only equate to about 1400 pax per day which is (with 140 seat a/c) equivalent to 5 a/c a day ie 5arrivals & 5 departures operating into & out of the airport. Looking back to the "good old days" of the 60s & 70s, Bournemouth has never been busy. Southampton, despite it's short runway, being just up the road is always going to be a problem for Bournemouth & probably take the lion's share of the traffic.
