Gloucester and Kemble are taking some of the private flights

Birmingham will probably take anything that can't be accommodated at BRS/CWL

Spotters sites such as SWAG are probably going to be the best source of detailed information.

Heard BRS was fully booked and only accepting pax drop off's due to shortage of apron space. EXT will take some slack, at least on the private biz front.

If I was on a biz flight for the Champions League finals there is no way I would want to be dropped off at Exeter. It is miles away. No disrespect to Exeter. As it has been known for some time that the final would be in Cardiff a plan should be in place, oops sorry just remembered it is the UK we are talking about here.

Slots for the Champions League Final on 3rd June were allocated on 18th May

Cardiff has 235 movements booked during the main period - all day Sat 3rd June and Sun 4th June morning. Some of these are positioning flights and some may be cancelled nearer the time

Im guessing the benchmark will be EDI with mid 60's% loads to define 'empty', although I dont think that survived a daily schedule.

EDI continues daily. It's Etihad which has reduced to 5x weekly.

Sorry to wee on the chips the aircraft type will be a 737 once QR have taken delivery. The wide body beauty will come only once the route becomes established, which of course it will as we in the region are crying out for this service

Thought they were cancelled in favour of A321LR ? QR said they wouldn't use the Max alongside Airbus - stand to be corrected tho.....

I'd like to see where this information has came from as it's severely on tue contrary to anything i've seen and heard.

I thought QR were taking the B737MAX for operation within other airlines it owns, and not within QR itself ? That's what i found online sometime ago.

Does it really matter what equipment they're using on the route? It's just semantics. The point is they're operating it, that's the positive aspect.

Taken from ch-aviation:

01NOV2016
Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad Int'l) will place an unspecified number of B737 MAX 8s with a carrier it is investing in airline Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Akbar al Baker has told Bloomberg.

The Qataris signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Boeing (BOE, Chicago O'Hare) earlier this month for up to sixty B737 MAX 8s. Although al Baker did not specify the carrier in question, it is believed Italian operator Meridiana fly (IG, Olbia), in which Qatar Airways is acquiring a 49% stake, will be a part beneficiary.

The tentative order broke Qatar Airways' traditional reliance on Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for its narrowbody needs amid teething problems with the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM-powered A320neo. Given its dissatisfaction, Qatar Airways has cancelled the delivery of at least five A320neo so far with al Baker warning that more would follow unless a permanent fix for the engine's issues is found.

**
In an interview with Arabian Aerospace Online News Service on 28th November 2016, Akbar Al Baker said “We won’t operate the A320 with the 737. The 737 is to cater for investment in other airlines.”

**
In a article in April this year, it suggested that Meridiana by 2021 will in total operate eighteen B737-800s (up from the current six).

**
These 60 aircraft are not yet confirmed orders and still remain 'Letter Of Intent'.
