Yes, spotted this on theairdb, the Jet2 schedule is already on their website: It's once a week on Saturdays for both Chambery and Geneva. Filling up some chartered flights I guess. Hardly something to get excited about, there are way enough GVA connections from EMA and BHX in the ski season (EZY and WW).

Jet2 website showing 1x weekly, both Geneva and Chambery on Mondays in December, Mondays and Saturdays in early January and Saturdays in late January to April, and seem to be W-pattern operated.

Where do you source this information? I'm guessing a nice tie-up with germanwings...any German routes destined for other bases??

Good news Yes, indeed, check WW's timetable on their new website (I agree with most people, it's an awful website). Flying times to CGN are very decent, starting 31st Oct, going out 17:30, coming back 21:10. The flight number 56xx hints possibly at a code-share, but then from the schedule, it sounds more like WW's own metal. Very good news this also for people around BHX, as NRN is nowhere near CGN, and we lost HHN. MUC flight also v.good, e.g. a late Friday ideal for weekend trips, starting 17th Sep. Again the plane goes out at 7:00, so unlikely it's 4U operating this. Would have been great they started those a bit sooner. In their best aggresive days, FR would have opened EMA-HHN and EMA/BHX-FMM tomorrow.

... to add that BHX-CGN is also back, very same fashion as EMA-CGN, also 6x weekly by WW, starting end-Sep. After we had nothing from the region to CGN, soon it will be MAN, EMA and BHX . I hope they keep this alive at least until the Nuerburgring race 2011, CGN is the best airport for this (sorry, off-topic, of course).

If Travel Service is following a similar position to what bmi was in last summer - operating for TCX, then we can probably expect these flights as well...

Mon - LPA
Tue - TFS
Wed - PFO
Thu - ACE
Sat - FUE
Sun - IBZ

Car Parking - Credit Card Fee

What sort of rip-off does Ms Coates and and her team think this is?

You pay £ 1.90 for the privilage of using her badly managed, and totally inadequate short stay / drop off car park, and avail yourself of the opportunity to use your credit card for ease of access / exit, only to find yourself landed with a £ 1.50 admin fee for leaving their facility - total cost for less than 30 minutes = £ 3.40.

What sort of a p**s take is that?

I know that EMA is probably charging Michael O'Leary two halfs of nothing to grace their precious tarmac, but why should the poor b**gger who is dropping off or picking up their friends or relatives for pay for EMA's poor commercial judgement in what ever they do or don't charge airlines for the privelege of operating from there.

Am I being unreasonable?

Gang steal £k's in dawn raid at bmibaby ticket desk

Now you all thought that threat level severe meant that " an attack was likely" so red face all round for plod and airport security when at 4 am this morning the joint facilities for bmibaby/Travelex was robbed, clearly inside information they knew what time to hit when the travelex staff opened up, so police incident tape accross the bmibaby walk up sales area.
