With the SXF route in mind, the gaps have been pretty much filled in, there are still the odd one of two, like on Tue, ALC arrives back at 18:45, and then does nothing late evening, (it would usually do DUB, but this is down to 1 on a Tue) and on a Fri, Tallinn gets in at 13:45, and does nothing until the SXF flight at 18:45, are the two main gaps to be seen really.

New York/stands

New York

Funniest thing since reading the Birmingham thread on pprune, now there's
a thought maybe he be introduced to someone on that thread and they
can discuss long-haul from the Midlands to their hearts content

Stands

Just a question about overnight airliner parking at East Mids, say that one
the resident airlines want to base 2-3 more aircraft would it be logistically
possible in summer, I know there have been discussions about this sort of
thing in the past but are there any issues? Not saying of course there are
any plans for such an increase but are there any plans in place?

I'll have whatever Brad is drinking

DELTA???

I take it he knows a bit about the airline industry (you'd kinda hope so)?

So he knows that DL sales in Europe is handled by AFKL.

And EMA cannot even convince AF or KL to fly to CDG or AMS.

And he seriously thinks they will say "Oh, but we do see a market for EMA-JFK"??

Still - the actual good news from the piece is the snow clearing investment.

Cgn/muc/cgn

Prague has not been bookable for ages beyond end of March
although it was released originally for summer.

Loads were poor on CGN and MUC in November but picked up
in December for obvious reasons.

However 15 doesn't go into 14 and these routes were expected to
be the ones to go in order to get the schedule back to 14 aircraft.
With the other bases so small it always looked like it would be EMA
taking the hit this time leaving: -

EMA 7
BHX 3
MAN 2
CWL 1
BHD 1

bmibaby PRG

Wow can't believe bmibaby are not operating EMA-PRG for the summer!

This is a BIG market left untouced which has proved itself in terms of passenger numbers in the past. With no flights from BHX either and FR not operating to PRG anymore things must be bad.

Also with easyJet no longer operating the 4x weekly service from up the road at DSA this summer, bmibaby could have had one of it's best summers on the route!?
