Travel Service

Travel Service have recently ordered a Boeing 787-800 (engine unknown) on 27th March. I'm guessing the Czech carrier is going long haul!

Do many charter carriers do long haul, or will it be introduced into the LoCo Smartwings fleet, now that the new EU-US agrrement has been signed?

Does anybody know why they ordered this aircraft?

I'm sure they already fly long-haul with their existing fleet to Asia and Africa (and maybe Carribean/Central & South America)????

How do they fly the long distance flights on the 738s?

Do they charter larger a/c?

738s can fly long distance, especially if you spread the seats out a bit.

They have winglets installed and tend to make tech stops on the longer flights.

I suppose they are not doing more than 5-6 hours on each leg before stopping to quench their thirst.

Just trained with a young lady whos last job was that of cabin crew for travel service. She was saying about the BKK flights. I like yourselfs asked about the duration and apparently they do stop for fuel in the middle east. I think she mentioned DXB but cannot be 100% sure
