Has todays GSM to YHM from STN via EDI gone at STN .
I see it landed only 20mins late at STN this morning but the
outbound is showing delayed on STN's departure board.

I flew on G-CDPT business class from MAN-CPT when it first started, not a bad service for the price. Was still early days so you could see staff were still learning the ropes.

So whats doing the CPT flights now?

GSM 757 forced to return to YHM one hour after takeoff last night - engine failure. Same 757 that had engine problems two weeks ago.

[QUOTE]

Nothing until November, they have been hit on the head until then.
There will also be a JNB route as well, not sure if its going to be different route's on different days, or a duel destination flight.

Being 20 mins early is no big deal and does not inconvenience people.

Being consistently several hours late does the exact opposite.

IB 4138

Jeesus, If I arrive early after a flight my old trout wants a drink while she waits for the cab... or whatever. Costs me a bloody fortune, thats an inconvienience. Of course its not as much as waiting to go and its late, that more than one drink.

Point is its aviation, ...not clockwork now, ...not clockwork before, and aint gonna be clockwork in the future.

Time for all to get an understanding.

If the 738 positioned out to YHM, how did the poor sods waiting at JFK for their return to LPL get home.

Did anybody know that GSM operates business class flights?

We all know that Silverjet, MaxJet and EOS are causing a stir and are inspiring airlines such as VS and BA to launch their own business class airline, but it looks like GSM have gone down this road also.

For a flat return fee of £2610, you will experience the GSM business class which is 38" leg room, 40kg baggage allowance, Complimentart seat selection (ooo fancy!) Priority boarding and check-in (wow!), inflight entertainment and gourmet meals with wine. Not exactly EOS standard, the highest class of any of the business class airlines, who can offer fares of £1543 for a return flight in FIRST CLASS.

I don't know what GSM are trying to do, but it is certainly not value for money. I'm guessing this route will be an all business class 738? BUT, if it works, it works and good luck to them!

The 757 it was supposed to operate on is Tech. Too many routes, not enough aircraft.

Another 24 hour delay for the airline of the year

They have a new 738 with a 2 class split. 177 seats, 15 of which are first class.
