Air France.... CDG to TLV - A320?

Does anyone know the reason why Air France use an A320 on the twice daily rotation between CDG and TLV when it's most of the time overbooked? Wouldn't the route benefit from an A321 or bigger?

The A321 range is not as good as the A320 is one of the reasons.

I'll wake this thread up. Le Figaro reports (French) that Air France-KLM is negotiating a commercial agreement and codeshare with... Etihad! That's a striking example of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em"!
