Is there such a great market for a business class between London and Moscow it can do better than a second daily NYC?

Some interesting destinations are being suggested including Doha (the need for refuelling is probably a problem) - although could work with the new agreement between QR and BA.
Boston has also been mentioned. Someone on another forum who claimed to have knowledge said the new destination was a shock so we'll see!

5 / 6 / 4 I think?
But yes; poor WX. They didn't need KLM joining BA in the lets bash WX party. There's increasingly little reason for them to... well... exist. The list of destinations they used to serve and that other people still do is immense :-(

KLM gifted LCY-AMS end of summer 2008 when CityJet got much closer to AF/KLM. Moved from a VLM F50 vs KLM F50 to a WX RJ85. Indeed KLM used to a virtual monopoly on ground handling as well with KGS running the show.
A most welcome return.

The E170 and E190 are certified for LCY whereas the E175 and E195 are not. Reason is the latter derivatives are both just a bit longer behind the main gear, which compromises runway clearance of the rear fuselage as they round out on touchdown from the steep approach.
