Yes,I see the news item tucked away under 'Investors' !

I for one would love to see them back in the air. They bring a bit of variation to the Boeing/Airbus near-monopoly.

Being split up and sold by the administrators, won't be suprised if a number are broken for spares/engines.

Two ATPs remote parked on rwy 25 at BLK. Another 3 aircraft expected to arrive soon. I believe their remaining ATPs are going into the hangar eventually. The 748s are destined for the knackers yard I've heard. Anyone have the definite gen?

Shed Update at Coventry

Out of the five Shorts 360s at Coventry two look like they will never be airborne again two more had a least one engine missing but other wise intact and one was locked in a hangar for safe keeping i think.

Two 748s were at the eastern side looking in one peace but thats about it lots of shed parts for sale by KPMG??

What about all the fleet they had stored at BLK? Presumably they are stranded in any event now BLK is closed?

JEMA/JEMC Still listed as stored.

JEMB/JEMD Went to Atlantic and then onto Indonesia last year.

JEME Went to the same airline in Indonesia in 2009 and was damaged beyond repair 2013.

Armodeen,
As mentioned Blackpool is only open to light aircraft. FR24 is not totally accurate and sometimes mnakes assumptions on departure airports. Today FR24 showed up an Embraer 145 owned by BAe in the climb and assumed it had come from BLK, when it had in fact taken off from BAe at Warton near Preston. Hope that helps

point is blackpool well and truly open, never really closed. True, the commercial traffic has gone, but looks like city wing due to return in the spring
