Thomas Cook, No New Routes '05?

I've been reading the list of flights for TCX on the TCX/JMC brochure for summer '05 and they seem to have the same (or almost the same) number of flights/destinantions that they operated last year. I was expecting an increase in the number of flights and destinations... but as far as i know TCX will do the same as did last summer.
(the only difference, i think it is a flight to Croatia and Quebec from LGW).
Does it mean TCX is not growing....? or lack of interest in growing...? Crisis...? Not enough aircrafts? lack of ambition?

The problem is that the IT Charter industry is in continual decline, whether it becomes terminal remains to be seen, but I doubt it.

Leaving aside the dreadful events of the past few days, growth is now focussed on long haul, and of course, the numbers to each destination tend to be smaller. The option of buying seats on carriers such as Emirates, Thai and the like is appealing since they do not require 200+ pax every week to make the ITC concept work.

IMHO, unless TCX get their act together and start behaving like an airline, in the way that TUI has done with BY, and Monarch are doing largely independently, they could find themselves "up a creeek, without a paddle"
