I've no idea, but if true this wouldn't be the first time they've ditched plans for flights between Scotland and Paris. They were going to launch flights from Edinburgh to Paris a year or so ago, but didn't go through with it in the end, if I remember rightly?

Did they apply for slots, but not get them? A big issue with easyJet, fighting French authorities and the protectionism for Air France, in trying to gain a larger foot hold in Paris.

I've been keeping an eye on on the fares for that route with plans to book, but their site was quoting me over £140rtn or more ever since they released the flights - about 4x FR's fare and in many cases more expensive than BA or AF! I wondered why the fares were so high, but maybe it was to put people off booking it until they knew they'd got the slots?
