Thumbs down

Seen a PIA 777 in similar sinister markings. Black flag, on white background, not so aesthetically pleasing or passenger-oriented. Oh well, I guess the management committee designed it, naturally including the religious input. No commercial considerations sadly.

No, the livery was changed when PIA recieved negative feedback over the dull original version designed by a Boeing affiliated design firm on the first 777, what was expected was the green tail would be brought back, but instead modifications were made to the original new scheme twice, this modified version which is better than the first one, has recieved an equal amount of negative feedback (especially the flag), from everyone but since it was the second modification made to the original just prior to the first 777 delivery the management were in no mood to go for yet another change.

Religion had nothing to do with it, if it had, then PIA crew would have been covering their heads with the scarf worn around their necks (its actually meant to be worn on the head), infact PIA's management ordered them not to cover their heads at any time, and were promptly taken to court by the Islamic parties over the issue, how ever PIA managed to win and the crew dont cover their heads anymore.

That colour is not black its the same green as used by Air Canada which turns up looking like black.
