1987 Airline from London to Goa?

I wondered if anybody could help me remember the name of the airline I flew to Goa, India on in 1987? The company has gone bust now. I think the flight was from Gatwick but could be heathrow...
Help appreciated!!!

Dan Air on a 737-400 ?

(Stops enroute somewhere in Greece (Rhodes?) and then Sharjah or Dubai or wherever?)

also seem to recall Paramount, who were based at Bristol with a small fleet of MD83s operating to Goa at that time.

....they weren't formed until May 1988 and didn't start flying to GOA until the 90's.

Could be Novair, formerly BCal Charter, BCA Charter, CAl-Air.

We actually operated the B737-400, through HER and SHJ as I recall.

On the other hand, 1987 might be a bit early for the Boeings, can't recall if we went there with the DC10's. Anyone else recall?

Pretty sure the Tour Operator would have been Inspirations ( then called Inspirations East) and the airline Paramount. The old grey matter is not what it was but I believe it tech stopped in Larnaca.

Seem to remember some sad b*st*rds forming an airline called "Goa Way". They had some HS748s which were repo'd and spent some time idle at Manchester.
