BA Close Glasgow and London Call Centres
BA have just announced that they are to close their Glasgow call centre by November 2004 with the loss of 350 jobs and their London call centre by March 2005 with the loss of 50 jobs. The work curently handled at these centres will be moved to the other centres at Newcastle, Manchester and Belfast.
Sad news for all these employees who have served BA well. Good luck to them all.
