Question Ezy 737-700

For the new Malaga route at NCL i have realised that is is a B737-700, is this because the old -33s cannot reach that far from NCL???

Hey there.

I didnt particularly notice that the new route was being specifically done by a 737-700 version but i shall check at work tomorrow.

The other 733's based at newcastle just swap over as far as i know, such as 1 might do NCL-BFS-NCL-BCN-NCL-STN-NCL then the other NCL-STN-NCL-STN-NCL-ALC-NCL-BFS-NCL etc.

With a full load, in the summer with the high temperatures, the -300 with standard EZY 20k engines can have a bit of a struggle to do NCL-AGP with standard reserves and night time diversion fuel with Granada and Seville closed.

The 22k aircraft can do it with ease, but the 20k -700 also will eat it, and with a MUCH lower fuel burn than the 22k -300. Crews at NCL have been getting their currency up to date on the -700 for this very purpose.

It's good to see NCL getting the newer aircraft as well.
