With a full load, in the summer with the high temperatures, the -300 with standard EZY 20k engines can have a bit of a struggle to do NCL-AGP with standard reserves and night time diversion fuel with Granada and Seville closed.
The 22k aircraft can do it with ease, but the 20k -700 also will eat it, and with a MUCH lower fuel burn than the 22k -300. Crews at NCL have been getting their currency up to date on the -700 for this very purpose.
It's good to see NCL getting the newer aircraft as well.
