DC 3 Down in Sudan???
Have just heard that a DC 3 from Ross Air was involved in a mishap? accident in Sudan. Anybody have more news?

Question Previous u/c damage?
Any truth to the story that this aircraft had just suffered an unreported collision to the LH u/c before this smash?

The airstrip was Rumbek.

An Andover did a very haevy landing the next day - nobody hurt.

ZS-MFY. The Piet and Willie handled it well, all 18pax and 3 crew walked away from the mishap, and the dak is being sewn back together in Lanseria as I type.
