If SAFAIR is the same company as I know 20 years ago it is a French cargo company working in particular areas with ex french airforce crews.

It's a long established South African company that specialised in cargo, medevac and charters for the SADF during the guerilla war, and to the Antarctic for the Navy. They have a few Hercs.
It has recently started LCC domestic scheduled passenger operations and seems to be doing quite well, I've flown on four flights in the last few months and I'm happy to report no trace of a French accent.

Ended up with 16 or 17 L100-30's, I cannot remember the exact figure; I brought ZS-JIZ across from Dobbins Air Force Base.
One of the best companies I had the privilege to work for.

Apparently French post guys who are under the umbrella of ASL of which SAFAIR is to.
Helping out as the crews needed are more the training department can train at the moment, I guess they are growing fast, good news for SA pilots.
