A new airline offering services between Vic Falls and Johannesburg using 737-500 is being advertised in Zimbabwe. There's also a recruitment section on the website and the job has appeared on the international pilot job networking sites. Anyone have any further info regarding this new startup airline, have they began operations, plans to expand the network and fleet, pilot employment etc. Any info appreciated.

I just started a thread on this in the interviews section, perhaps I will delete as this forum is more appropriate.

I have applied for a Capt position

As far as I know they have not started flying yet and are getting a further 4 733's

Ok post if you hear anything on the interview front, I will do the same.

Yes I saw that they had started flying, presume they can't need to much man power with just one -500

I suspect that there is quite a few (or ex) Air Zimbabwe pilots floating round and recruitment in Africa and Zimbabwe in particular might not follow standard logic.

Good luck anyway.
