Ethiopian Airlines

I was quite surprised to not find any threads on ET in this African Aviation Forum. Do any of you work there? Can you share some information?

1. How is rostering? Stable? Published in advance?
2. How is housing? Clean? Availability?
3. What is the most sectors / legs do you fly in one day? 3 or 4 or 5?
4. Are Pilots happy flying at ET?
5. How is Crew Transport to / from Airport?

Thanks in advance for this information.

If you fancy to work for a carrier for free during revenue operations whilst in training, then look no further! Ethiopian is the place to be!

$60 USD per Diem is all you get. Talk about lowering the bar.

B787

Has Ethiopian resumed flying the B787? Did they released any foreigners during the grounding? Ethiopian still scrambling for pilots all fleets, are they honoring the 20 days on 10 days off, or 18/12 they advertise for?

Could anyone clarify how long the training period entails once employed? What is the initial tenure of employment?

Any problems with lack of Oxygen at 7500ft during medicals?

The routes I know of for the B788 are Nairobi and Washington-Dulles.

Ethiopian Airlines

I am going next week to Ethiopian's headquarters for a two days assessment.
Does anybody have info to share with me related to med exam as well as to the interview and sim?

Cheers

housing is ok, but better to be out of hotel when they do not pay for hotel. Allowance is 1250 a month is ETB.
757/767 most sectors you fly is 4
roster is not stable changes daily or sometimes hourly
fly over the legal limits for 7 days and 30 days
