I'm gonna be ambitious and give them 12 months against the deep pocketed Godzilla...not to mention their own (734) PBN deficient dinoplanes.
Happy to eat humble pie down the line.
...hunger pangs...looming.

The problem was solved by getting her Memsahibness trained up as cabin crew and employed on the same aluminum toob...
..which in its self is a whoooole new problem, but hey, per Ardua ad Astra....
No longer do I get chewed on because I'm never at home...it's now about how many coffees I order in flight and what I can't have in my crew meals. Grrrrrrrr.

It's what any sane person would do.
Back on topic, the new contender seems to be following the same old SA LCC pattern (except for Velvet and 1Time and we know what happened there) where they get tacked on to an established carrier and share staff and facilities. Seems to be the only way they can dodge the overheads in the small local market. Have to sit tight and see where this one goes. Might be a bit of a knock for the other LCCs now that their fill in carrier is going into direct competition with them.

One would think that by now, having witnessed a 100% failure rate of all previous LCC in this market, they would know that same ole same ole with the same old airframes is generally not going to get them very far.
But lets see.
