Just got back from vacation in Uganda. Seems like a wonderful country.

I am looking for any and all information regarding Air Uganda....ownership, fleet and route plans, employment possibilities.

Small company, seems like there is huge potential there.

Celestair Group. Aga Khan is the big investor and it seems to be a empowerment/ development project. Also look up Air Mali and Air Burkina. All part of the same group with similar livery. When I was in Entebbe last there was some Meridian Air/ Airline engineers working on the Air Uganda MD87 on the VIP apron/ old apron. Meridian an Italian outfit also part of Celestair as far as I could see. Uganda is awesome! Loved my time there next to the Lake.

Thanks for the info. Not much out there about them. Trying to see if the parent compant of my emplover would be interested is a possible investment...and then let me live/work there.

I was recently in Entebbe and noticed Air Uganda flys CRJ-200s. Does anyone know if they hire expats or is it all local pilots? What kind of reputation does Air Uganda have?
