Is there an update on Dana Air 992, 03 Jun 2012, 5N-RAM?
Has there been any cause attributed to the dual engine failure on the MD-80 that was lost on the 3rd of June in Nigeria?
I have done a web search and read the posts and accident seems to be blamed on the flight having lost all available thrust. But why, if they had enough fuel and that fuel was not contaminated what caused both engines to lose thrust? Is there any further news?

Still a mystery, and more worrisome as accident investigation board, has yet to issue a conclusive report, but NCAA has released DANA to start flying.
If there is a problem with the MD83,this action of NCAA is not ideal in my own opinion, rumors abound though of pilot error as a contributory factor.
DANA MD83 should be grounded until investigation points otherwise.

Here's a link to the Nigerian AIB's preliminary report and update. They lost both engines on approach but it is very unclear why.
