Air Tanzania

Can anybody tell me if Air Tanzania are still operating? None of their contact numbers seem to be working and their website also seems to be down. I read that Senagol of Hong Kong owned the DHC-8-Q300's which seem to have been parked for the last couple of months! Is this true or do the government of Tanzania indeed own these aircraft?

Still existing but not operating at this time. The Dash 8s will be in the air soon. They are undergoing maintenance process well atleast one of them in South Africa. The second one will go there soon as well.

While discussing Tanzania, what's with Air Zara? I saw a recent advertisement with a BAE146 in the backround?

Are these guy's actually operating again? And with a Bae146?

Is this the same company that previously leased the E120's off Naturelink?

I'll give them a gold star for trying, but don't think I'd buy a ticket too far in advance.

Air Zara has acquired a former Allegiance Air BAe 146. The 146 was ferried to Dar es Salaam on June 12.

Any further news or details would be welcome.

In typical Air Zara fashion, the aircraft has been sitting on the ramp since then doing nothing.
