Jacob the Cook
Years ago in the UN compound there was this amazing local cook called Jacob. For a very small fee he would put together the most amazing meals from what he could source locally and cook it on one gas stove and a coal drum if I recall correctly. He would even ask you what time you wanted breakfast the next day and have it ready when you woke up. I had some of the best food ever during my stay in Sudan there. If he is still there, it is well worth the few dollars that he charges.

Soft toiletpaper (for when "those parts" are tender from wiping about 10 times a day!), lots of Immodiums, cream for rashes, Tabart and lots of cigarettes.
