Just to add on...

I've noticed nickmory is scheduled for 19th from 12.30 while my invite states that it starts at 7.30 and should be done by 12.30. Which means there'll be 2 groups on Wednesday.

Batch mode

Maybe they send their emails in batches.
Listings sorted in Alphabetical order, or even, the AB internal names you were given. This could take a while. This also explains the ranking they used when they called up guys for the height measurements.

There was one group on 6th that had to do the papers much later than the rest since DEFTEC had resources to cater for a lesser number than the one that reported. That group was almost turned back, and it took the intervention of the captain in charge to sort everyone out.

If you were in that group, and you have your email, let us know.
If you were in that group and have not received your email yet, have hope.
They may be on the way.

@Brainiarc7

I was in the group that almost got turned away on 6th (we finished the aptitudes at about 6pm). A friend of mine we were together in that group received his mail today, 10.00 AM. Personally I haven't received .. Let's hope that their is another batch scheduled for tomorrow, otherwise for the unlucky us, let's find the another alternative to hit the skies

Pilot's salary

How much do ab initio pilot trainees earn while in SA and how much do they earn thereafter?

Well

@rookAviator,

What rank were you when we were having our heights taken?
If you were among the last people, then the batch email mode based on alphabetic order makes sense.

I was among the very last people to have our heights taken.

Emails

By the way, does KQ email people who fail at any stage of the process, or are they left out in the dark?

Surnames

@rookAviator,

What initials and letters do your surnames start with?
I'm at M.
I know two friends personally who got their invite for the afternoon . Surnames starting with K and H. Scheduled for the afternoon session on 19th.

I'd say, let's be patient. They are on their way.

Lets just be patient, "tujaribu tu kujaribu kutulia...", neither have I received any invitation for the Psychometric test, but we still leave it open, and in case we miss out, the thing is, we can not all be pilots, we might as well be passengers!

Hopefuls

Brainiarc7,

My first is K, second M, and surname N. Hopes keep fading with the passing hour, but the spirit keeps burning.

nyongesan, very true. For those of us who will be unsuccessful, we will be the employers, paying for their bills like bausses!

@rookAviator

What does your surname start with?

I'll alert you when I receive my invitation. Having two groups do a Psychometric on one day is rare.
