C210 rating

Hi,

Might be starting with Scenic Air over here.

Does anyone have experience with getting a cessna 210 rating in Namibia?

The two options I have now are;
- Go to south africa and fly a few hours, do an exam with a DE who can take exams for SA and Namib (10000NAD) or
- The long and costly way with West Air here in Windhuk (40000 NAD)

Any other ideas?

Pardon My Ignorance

Sorry, don't know about regs on your continent, but a type rating on a C210? How does your typing system work?

MKA742, Is that a username a sign of hope or do you work for MK already?

Thanks suitcaseman. Sounds like the normal, reasonable process with an extra layer of bureaucracy on top.

One more question. If someone with experience in about 30 different light twins and singles did a conversion or co-validation how would all those "time on type" logbook entries be converted?
